Pike County Dispatch

In September of 2009, I began work as a correspondent for the Pike County Dispatch which is based out of Milford, Pa.

The Pike County Dispatch, or just “The Dispatch” as it is referred to by its readership, covers the news and happenings within Pike County in Northeast Pennsylvania. The newspaper has a circulation of 6,000.

In addition to covering happenings within the county, the paper features a “Port Jervis Dispatch” section which is directed toward Port Jervis, N.Y., a neighboring town in Orange County, N.Y.

At the Dispatch, I covered everything from local sports to news stories within the school district to stories that received nationwide attention.
